Reverse engineering and CAD design
Reconstruction, redesign and development from scratch of parts and assemblies based on a physical part, a 3D mesh, drawings, measurements, reference data or functional requirements. We create CAD models and technical documentation designed around function, assembly and manufacturability.
Deliverables:
- 3D CAD model (parametric or surface-based): STEP/IGES or SLDPRT/SLDASM
- 2D drawing with advanced GD&T, where required
Ideal for: replacement parts, redesigns, new designs and functional improvements.
Prototyping and validation
Prototypes and first-off parts to verify geometry, fit and performance before manufacturing the final component. Where necessary, we refine the design based on the validation results.
Deliverables:
- Physical prototype in a material suited to the validation objective
- First-off part or fit and interference check, where required
- CAD model updates resulting from validation
Ideal for: new developments, redesigns and components requiring verification before production.


Component manufacturing
We manage the manufacture of parts and assemblies based on fully defined technical documentation. We select the most suitable material, process and manufacturing partner for each project, with technical oversight through to delivery.
Typical processes: CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication and welding, casting, forging and 3D printing.
Deliverables:
- Finished components or assemblies
- First-off part and verification against the drawing, where required
- Material, heat treatment or inspection documentation, where included in the project scope
