Reverse engineering for industrial parts
We reconstruct components using dimensional measurement and precision 3D scanning to generate CAD models and technical documentation ready for validation, quotation and manufacture.

From a physical part to documentation ready for manufacture
We reconstruct parts and assemblies when reliable CAD models or drawings are unavailable. We work from physical parts, measurements, 3D scans or incomplete documentation to recover their geometry and define the functional features.
We analyse datums, fits, tolerances, assembly requirements and the manufacturing process. Where wear or deformation is present, we interpret the functional geometry from the available surfaces and measurements.
Ideal for: obsolete or unavailable spare parts, recreation of missing drawings, redesigns and components that need to be reproduced.

Reconstruction of complex geometries
We use the existing geometry to reconstruct surfaces, critical features and functional datums. We create a clean, editable CAD model ready for assembly validation and preparation of the technical documentation required for manufacture.
• Capture and analysis of the existing geometry
• Parametric modelling and surface reconstruction
• Assembly verification and manufacturing drawings with GD&T

Do you have a part without drawings or a spare part that is no longer available?
Send us photographs, measurements or any available information. We will assess the project and recommend the most suitable method, scope and deliverables.
